Tatsuya began in 1998 when Chef-owner Chia Pee Tat (aka Ronnie) decided to open his own restaurant after honing his culinary skills in Japan. The name Tatsuya is an amalgamation of his name “Tat” (friendliness) and “Ya” , symbolising his desire for customers to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine in warmth and comfort.
