About Tatsuya

Tatsuya began in 1998 when Chef-owner Chia Pee Tat (aka Ronnie) decided to open his own restaurant after honing his culinary skills in Japan. The name Tatsuya is an amalgamation of his name “Tat” (friendliness) and “Ya” (home), symbolising his desire for customers to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine in warmth and comfort.


The Restaurant

Step through our doors and be embraced by a cosy space adorned with zen pinewood elements. Built to put you at ease while you indulge in sashimi, sushi and speciality creations from our team of Japanese Master Chefs — using the freshest ingredients air-flown straight to our kitchen. And not forgetting attentive servers who embody the spirit of Japanese hospitality to complete your experience.

Guests can choose to dine up close and personal with Chefs at our twenty-four seater sushi bar, or opt for a more traditional experience in our main dining room. Alfresco dining is also available if you wish to take in the outdoor sights, while our private tatami room is perfect for more intimate discussions.
